Goldfish fry day 1

The goldfish fry hatched yesterday and today!

Half of the eggs hatched yesterday afternoon. The rest of the eggs hachted later that night and middle of the night or this morning. (Took a total of 5 days to hatch). We don't know. We haven't seen it. We woke up with I think 50 extra fry. We counted 30 or something yesterday. To total of 80 goldfish fry? I think... rewind: after replacing them, we counted 175. (maybe plus 5)

The fry are hanging on the watersurface, sometimes moving a bit.

We've read that they stick to their egg the first day, eating it. But they don't seem to be doing that. :S I think they're resting on the watersurface.
We've put some liquid egg yolk in the water but they didn't seem to eat yet. We're going to start trying again when they are starting to swim around.

We've put the fry in a washing-up bowl with 5-10cm of water. 20celsius again. with some fluviatilis plants and a tiger lotus. The small tank was a mess. Wasn't very handy to change water and clean it either. We removed the filter friday. So they couldn't get sucked up >.<

We also bought some frozen cyclops spec. Food for when they're a week old. They guy at the aquarium shop said he always fed it to small fish fry. So... see if they want to eat that after one week.

Goldfish eggs. Eggs day 2.

Goldfish eggs are okay. Nothing happened yet. You see black spots in some of the eggs. Other are with fungus. We removed the eggs with fungus with our hands. So much work.
Temperature dropped to 19Celsius/66.5 fahrenheid. Hope it doesn't matter. We do not have a heather in the small tank.
Guess we wait some more days.

Painting

We've done some painting today. Both started on a new project. Lisette is busy painting penguins. I'm busy painting a owl. The results for day one.

Morning

This is our we-woke-up-at-6am-face. Some weird people has put some newspaper with plastic wrapping next to our window. The wind blows 30mph like 50kmh :S To much noise. So we couldn't sleep anymore. We decided to take a walk at 6am after trying to move the whole stupid stuff. Didn't work. So morning walk.

Goldfishies? Eggs day 1

Sushi and Sake have spawned. There are goldfisheggs now. Let's see if we get a new fishie >.<

We had Sake and Soya separated from the main tank to a 25 liter/7 gallon tank to catch some eggs of the eggs. We've put a filter in the smaller tank, a java vern and a tiger lotus. the tank is 21 degrees/70 fahrenheit. We have no light in the smaller tank the whole day.
There are also some eggs in the bigger tank. also 21 degrees. 120Liter/31 gallon tank. Ligtht on 12hours a day. anubia in the tank. and some goldfish >.<
Let's see if anything is going to happen.

Shiro Maguro

I bought a new fishie today! :)
Lisette and I went to the petstore to buy new fishfood. The fishfood went unfrozen because the fridge was broken. So we had to buy new one for the fish.
They had these aweeesome new goldfishes at the store. A whole lot of new ranchu's and even bubble eyes!
I fell in love with the bubble eyes and one ranchu. I was a complete sucker for it's cuteness, so we ended up buying him. >.< His name is Shiro Maguro. :) He's completely white with half orange eyes. and the end of his pelvic fins are black and the end of his caudal tail is orange. :) It's so cute.
Crappy photo of Shiro Maguro. He was still shy and staying in the back. He loves the other ranchu Sambal in my tank. They're both the same size. It's lovely to see them together. :) ^k.

The usual

Cleaned up my entire room. Under and behind the bed and closet. All is clean.

Liset went to her home to check upon her fish. One of them died. He was sick for already one month or something. He didn't get better. I'm sorry little fishie. You were cute. and the best.

These fish are called the red eye tetra (Moenkhausia Sanctaefilomenae). They are very cute fish. Very fast. And extremely stressfull. :S They even got scared when we stood up from our chair, not even near the aquarium. So they bump against the glass and stones trying to get away... from nothing. It is a bit sad.
So if you want these fish make sure nothing is around. :S

Shabu Shabu

Shabu Shabu was delicious!! But we're going to Sumo next time again. Sumo is better after all. :P But, it was still super delicious. And super duper fun. :) ^k.

1 year together

Today Lisette and I are together for one year. :) We're going to celebrate it at the Sushi restaurant Shabu Shabu this afternoon. Normally we go to Sumo. We love that place. But we're going to try Shabu Shabu today. To see how it's there. We slept till 9:30 and just watched some L-word episodes >.<. Completely the lazy day :D yaay. Maybe some painting when we come back from the Sushi restaurant. ^___^ ^k.

First day off, no school! Yaaayy!
We're going to make a mango milkshake today and just play some games and do nothing.

I find, that I'm not doing much lately. I am busy drawing children's book illustrations for someone. Haven't much done yet. But it's fun. It's about a little mouse who gets a boyfriends and is going to marry and stuff. Cute.
I'm working.
Not doing school much.
Cleaning a lot.
And playing with the fishies. They've grown huge. 12 cm of fantail goldfish. >.<

I lost my blog.

well, it's still here but still I feel like I lost to it. Because I wasn't been able to write every day. Or at least one a week. I also don't know how to write every day anymore. I've been so busy keeping up my schoolwork and all other things.

So long ago...

It's hard to come back here. I don't know why. I'm not used to writing anymore. I love it so much, but I don't know how I'm supposed to do it. It feels like writing is the past. History.
I don't know what my hobbies are now. Not anything really. I feel lost in the world. Nothing wants to work out really. School's messed up. I'm still sick every now and then. Fighting this hopeless allergic-tiredness. Skipping all of my school classes. I'm too tired to go to school. I'm to scared to go to school.
One thing works out perfectly. My sweet girlfriend. After one year we're still together. I'm really happy. I was afraid I would mess up. I tend to mess up relationships, pushing everyone away. Destroying every bit of them. but for once I didn't. I hope I make her as happy, as she makes me.

Trip to Kent UK!

I've been on this one week trip with my mother en brother to Kent in United Kingdom. I absolutely in love with the UK. I love the place. The landscape is so pretty. The cities are so beautiful and cute. People are friendly. And I really want to go visit London again! :D Now already planning for a new trip to London in January/February. Good goal to pass all of my exams in one try.
