I got this funny music art postcard from Mariska, Rijswijk the Netherlands. The card traveled 1 day!!!! XDXD 9km. you can seriously walk that in two hours. hahahah. The lady in the blue dress on the card is a bit... uhhh scary. yeah. I love music. I love art. this is cool. (NL-854061)

Arcon Germany Postcrossing received #12

Second postcard came from Arcon in Frechen, Germany. Small town near Koln. I really like this card. It's sort of dreamy. I like how the man is looking over the lake to the old Regensburg cathedral. I would love to visit it one day. Who's coming to Germany with me? :P XD I like the contrast of the old cathedral and the modern bridge :') hahah nice. Beautiful postcard. (DE-1101251)

Sophie Netherlands Postcrossing Direct Swap! =D

And OOmmmmgg! I was so awesomly happy with the little package! Direct swap with 14year old Sophie from Zutphen, the Netherlands. How cool is the envelop? How cool are the stickers? How cool are the stamps? I already loved the outside of this and that was not all. Inside was even more to jump through the roof from excitement. it contained a cool recipe for mokkacupcakes! =DDD So gonna try that next week, stickers from Donald Duck and a looong letter on cute Disney Winnie the Pooh stationary. Omg I love all of it. Sophie, If you read this. Thank you Thank you Thank you ! I'm definitly going to write back to you as soon as possible! =D So exciting and happy.

I tried to find who made the postcard. Couldn't really find it. But I think this is the maker of the card, Yoshi. Junk.princess. Not sure though. She has a flickr page. She got some beautiful stuff. And a tattoo of the postcard :') awesome hahah

Kool-Aid for comfort

Today was the last day at my parttime job. The amusement parc is closing for 6months! I felt a bit sad. But we made a little party of our own with lots of food :')
Pea soup made by our lovely cheff at the restaurant and it was freaking cold. I made apple pie to celebrate the last day at work. The boss got us magnum icecream for comfort? XD And I got a can of Kool-Aid Drink from Zowi! <33 NOOM! One of the best drinks ever. Today was fun and sad.
Ugh I look weird. Got 4 hours of sleep... one, I couldn't sleep. two, I tossed my clock the wrong way. I thought we were going to get the summer season here instead of winter. Woke up two hours too early. Damn. meaning 7 instead of 9. Fool. XD

I got my most curious postcrossing card from Malaysia. It's handmade. With three pictures. I like the food pictures. Yummm. (MY-76739) And it had a looooootttt of stamps on the back!!! =O most up till now! Awmyyy. Every stamp represents a state in  Malaysia with a picture of it's Sultan. =) Pretty cool.

To lose a dream

He had lost his motivation and his strengh when society took his chance to fullfill his dream. 'You are needed somewhere else.' his friends and family said. But his heart felt more lost than he had ever been. 
He took a café job. Met new people. Got close to them and wondered. 'Did I lost my dream to meet them? Did I had to lose my motivation just to get to know them? Did I had to lose knowledge to see them grow into people of this world? What are our relationships compared to my dream? What are their dreams compared to my dream? Can it be compared? Why do we know each other?'
'Maybe I am not the one you lost your dream for.' the café owner said. 'Maybe that one has still to come. Time and patience will let you learn.'
'I lost my patience with my dream.' he said. 
'Why are we close? Why do we know each other? I can not do else than bring you a drink. I do not fit you.' She poured down his drink and shoved a tosti with cheese under his face.
He replied 'even when we are not suited for each other, you are still the one my heart longs for everyday. I do not mind losing my dream, if it was for you. Do I lose you and my dream? How long do I have to wait for the one to pass?'
'Wait and you'll know.' She replied and walked away.

Today was definitely full of mail. Writing and sending  birthdaycards to friends. One to Jasmijn and one to Lisette.

 The Presents I gave last week to Jasmijn. and the card. New Keri Smith book. I hope it's just as much fun as her WreckThis Journal book. Cooking book budget dinner!!! :D Always handy when  one goes to live on their own. :P And a small notebook from artist Gaelle Boissonnard.

And one unexpected card from Berlin, Germany from a friend, Kilian. Awmygawd! This is also the must curious artistic card I got. Why traffic light? XD I like it. I didn't know the old left and right Berlin had different traffic lights. :S Still need to visit Berlin very soon. Nice flower stamp :) 

Yes I'm still learning too. Sort of. Tomorrow is going to be... a failing day. :P Started to late? nooooo... umm? maybe a little. little much. Too bad. Since I like the subject of tomorrow's exam. :S

Lang Leve de Koningin

Watched my favorite childhood movie yesterday. 'Lang Leve de Koningin'. It's about a 8year old girl, Sara de Waal. She doens't know her dad. And gets this new friends who teaches her how to play chess. The chess board comes to live and helps her to become a very good at chess.  So much good memories >.< I think I rented the book a googleplex (that is a lot a lot times) times from the library. I still really want that chess board. I wonder if it's ever been made for sale.

I forgot to upload one card I got from Suzanna from Finland. I really wonder who does people on the picture are. Random people? Are they famous in Finland? I only know the band Nightwish and Tarja Turunen from Finland. :') Need to update my knowledge on Finland. And some other countries I guess. I've never been to Finland. Sounds like, even moooore cold in the winter compared to the Netherlands.
